I am so frigging sick of people constantly saying that if you scam and kill people ingame that you are in real life a true criminal and beat up old people and eat babies and such, just because i prefer to flex my intellectual muscle and outsmart pepole in a GAME via scamming does not mean that i will go around in rel life doing the same kind of things hell i am generally a very nice and helpful person in real life yet ingame i play a clog hearted bastard, that is all. No, you don't do that in real life, i have no doubts most scammers, griefers etc.. are not actually criminals.

But still you're the kind of person that dosen't do that crap in real life because of consequences, because the of the laws and social stigma that are in place to prevent it.
You basicly do a cost/benefit analysis, and in real life it dosen't pay to be criminal, ingame it pays to be a griefer.

There's lots of sociopaths in real life that live a lawful life. Most of them are lawyers and managers so i hear
If social order were to break down for example, this is the kinda of people that go out on the streets and start looting and praying on others. "Everybody for himself" "Darwin FTW" and all the crap.

On the other hand "good" people don't do that kind of stuff either in real life or ingame because they're not coerced into being good by laws and society mores, but rather have an empathy for other people. They have their own sense of right and wrong that is based on identifying with others, feeling good when others are happy, feeling bad when others are having problems.

That dosen't mean someone like that can't PvP. But he PvPs because everybody knows the game rules and is having fun. You're enriching someone's game experience by poding them.

But when it comes to scamming, i simply can't think of a way of doing it that would be any fun. It's just griefing, and it requires out of game metagaming most of the time.
